1990 - Artist’s Last Love Letter

When Dennis Mashek, a designer of carpeting and software, asked me to help him develop his products, I also created some images for myself, including Artist's Last Love Letter. The title was inspired by Linda Ginsberg’s article about the death of a professional and the consequences that fell upon his family. My design was intended to be made into a carpet; however, I was satisfied with the many variations of prints that I could get using Mashek's state-of-the-art thermal color printer. From his system it migrated back to my PC and it's been through many iterations, including my stamp art.
