Bill Ritchie design in Canada

in the

Larry Frisch Collection

Larry assembled his own Mini Etching Press similar to this studio example.

After Larry finished his press he came back for some pointers from Tom Kughler
the press maker and engineer behind the Halfwood line.

Bill Ritchie's comment: Larry came to Halfwood Press to test the Mini Etching Press with his plates, which he made with ImageOn and incorporated his photographs, and he uses Akua ink. We printed a few impressions and also we had a good conversation relating my Emeralda myth to his historical fiction writing. A few months later Larry returned and took ownership of his DIY Mini Etching Press.
