But in a way you're right, because etching and engravings are very often printed the same way, the way called intaglio.

Technically, both etching and engraving are plate making techniques, and intaglio is a plate printing technique.

The way engraving is done is very different from etching, and either one can be printed intaglio or in other ways, such as relief or in combinations.
